Crunchy Air Fryer Chicken & Mozzarella Wraps

Crispy air fryer chicken wraps filled with melty mozzarella, fresh veggies, and bold flavor. An easy, high-protein dinner perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pcs Breaded chicken tenders cooked
  • 2 large Flour tortillas
  • ½ cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded
  • ½ cup Tomatoes sliced or roasted red peppers
  • ¼ cup Ranch or Caesar dressing optional
  • 1 tsp Olive oil or spray for crisping
Optional Add-Ins
  • Red onion thinly sliced
  • Tortilla chips crushed
  • Hot sauce to taste

Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer Any size works
  • 1 Knife For slicing wraps
  • 1 Cutting Board Optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2–3 minutes
  2. Warm the cooked chicken tenders if they’re cold, either in the microwave or briefly in the air fryer.
  3. Lay each tortilla flat and add lettuce, tomatoes, chicken, and shredded mozzarella down the center. Add dressing if using.
  4. Roll the tortillas tightly like a burrito, tucking in the sides. Place seam-side down.
  5. Lightly spray or brush the outside of each wrap with oil.
  6. Air fry for 5–7 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  7. Let rest for 1–2 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, lightly spray the wraps with oil before air frying.
  • Don’t overfill the tortillas, or they may open while cooking.
  • Any cooked crispy chicken works here, including frozen air-fried tenders.
  • Let the wraps rest for 1–2 minutes before slicing so the cheese sets slightly.
